But that doesn’t mean it’s easy or sustainable. You take care of everyone else’s needs but your own and lately, things feel heavier. You are struggling in your relationships and you’re tired of pushing through life and not feeling better.
Attachment Focused Therapy
What is attachment and why is it important? We are born in relationship, wounded in relationship, and heal in relationship. Humans need relationships to thrive and I am passionate about relational work with my clients.
Attachment is the bond infants need when they are born in order to survive. Your caregivers were your first love and the early attachment with them lays the foundation for your adult relationships. If they were a “secure base” (nurturing and safe), you might function securely in your relationships, trust others, and believe that love is reliable. If they were overwhelming (enmeshed), or distant (physically or emotionally neglectful), it might have created an “attachment injury”.
Those who suffered from an attachment injury might struggle with boundaries, self-worth, shame, and living an authentic life. Healing this injury can be done in a secure relationship with a licensed therapist who specializes in helping you get to know your Authentic Self.
WTF is an Authentic Self?
We all have an Authentic Self. We are born with it, but under the influence of less than nurturing caregivers or trauma, we lose contact with it. The process of uncovering your Authentic Self is at the heart of this journey.
Once accessed, I can help you let go of old beliefs and stories that are no longer serving you so that you can invest in a deep and committed relationship with your Self and move toward secure functioning in your relationships.

Individual Therapy
You already have the tools for personal growth, but due to family messaging, trauma, or societal conditioning, you may be unaware of your internal resources. Some of these internal resources—which I call tools—include values, worthiness, and the courage to set boundaries. I help you access these tools because they play a major role in your emotional health, confidence, and functional relationships.
Values work will be the foundation of our work together. Helping you define your values and priorities—not the ones handed to you by others since the day you were born—will be the first step in helping you live an authentic life. Values are your moral compass. They are your north star to help guide you home to your Authentic Self. Without knowing your values, you cannot know yourself or your priorities. Adults make decisions daily that are informed by how they were raised and once we can identify inauthentic messaging (messages not aligned with the inherent values of your Authentic Self), you can make decisions and choices that better align with your true Self. After this, we explore healthy and unhealthy family of origin dynamics, your patterns in relationships, and how you might be self-sabotaging your peace.

Attachment-Focused EMDR Therapy
What is Attachment-Focused EMDR and why is it better than EMDR?
Attachment-Focused EMDR recognizes how deeply early relationships shape our sense of Self, safety, and the ability to connect with others. This method incorporates attachment theory with traditional EMDR, making it especially effective for those who have experienced neglect, emotional abuse, inconsistent caregiving, and relational trauma in childhood. We won’t just process traumatic events. We will also explore unmet emotional needs—such as feeling seen, heard, safe, and worthy of unconditional love—and then build internal resources to find relief and begin to relate securely with Self and others.
50 minute sessions: $150 or 80 minute sessions: $225
