Lara Davis, Meadows Trained Therapist in texas
I am an active and engaged therapist who prioritizes an empathetic and secure therapeutic relationship.
The type of clients I attract are high-achieving adults sick of their own BS — and everyone else’s BS — and are ready to put in the hard work of finding relief.
My style is direct. I understand that some days you might want to just vent or keep it light, and that’s ok! However, if you are looking for a therapist who spends most sessions nodding and saying “mmhmm”, I am not the therapist for you. If you are looking to do the deep work and be challenged, that’s me. If you want someone to compassionately hold you accountable to your goals and kindly call you out on your bullshit, we are a good fit.
I am also a mother, daughter, sister, friend, teacher, student, and client. Wearing these hats keeps me grounded in self-awareness and deeply committed to ongoing personal inquiry and growth.
Meet Steely
In my free time, I enjoy quality time with my family, friends, and dog, Steely.
I also love reading, cooking, yoga, Pilates, photography, hiking, watching birds, attempting to keep my houseplants alive, and almost any activity involving the mountains.
